Program failed to recognize some exotic USB drives. Many internal improvements and small bugfixes. A new, rewritten DVD engine - much better handling for discs with structure protection. Program crashed decoding certain AC3 (DD) streams, usually during transcoding. On some UHD HEVC streams program spitted thousands of invalid "Corrupt" messages, appearing to hang. Some titles were truncated on DVDs with structure protection, when using CellWallk method. Program could hang when scanning certain protected DVD discs using CellWallk method. Improved handling for discs with mastering errors. Files integrity may be checked using hash file. NOTE: MakeMKV is not signed by Apple, you might need to adjust gatekeeper options in order to install the program. Requires 圆4 or ARM64 Mac OS X 10.7 or later. This was never intended to be public, it was thrown together in an evening when I couldn't get a BluRay I'd bought to play back using UltraVoliet on a Roku (still doesn't work). The script should attempt to automatically rip either a DVD or BluRay disk, automatically selecting the correct stream (first, large track) and using the disc title as the filename Notes install.sh 1.9.x (use the version of MakeMKV) Edit the install.sh to change the install prefix. Edit the src/rip file to set the device (/dev/sr0) and any SFTP upload location. 
Download the MakeMKV tar files and place them in the src folder.You must download the MakeMKV Linux source/binaries from MakeMKV Installation The rip script itself is fairly generic, but the installs script calls apt and ubuntu ppa.
Really basic BluRay/DVD ripping script, using HandBrake and MakeMKV CLI tools to rip disc and disc images to MKV files.
